Description The Annals of the University Dunarea de Jos of Galati Fascicle VI-Food Technology is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research papers, review articles and brief communications in the fields of · Food Science and Engineering, · Food Safety, · Food Biotechnology. The Annals of the University Dunarea de Jos of Galati Fascicle VI-Food Technology is a publication of the Faculty of Food Science and Engineering under the aegis of Galati University Press of the University Dunarea de Jos of Galati, Romania. The Annals of the University Dunarea de Jos of Galati, Fascicle VI-Food Technology carries no page charges and is opened to all international scientists.
History The first issue of the journal was published in 1978 (ISSN 1221-4574). 1978–1982 - the name of the publication was Buletinul Universităţii din Galaţi, Fascicula VI-Tehnologia şi Chimia Produselor Alimentare (Galati University Bulletin, Fascicle VI-Food Technology and Chemistry). 1983-1989 - the name of the publication was Analele Universităţii din Galaţi, Fascicula VI-Tehnologia şi Chimia Produselor Alimentare (The Annals of the University of Galati, Fascicle VI-Food Technology and Chemistry). Papers were published in French or English with multilingual abstracts (Romanian, French, English, and German). 1990-2007 - the name of the publication was bilingual: Analele Universităţii Dunărea de Jos din Galaţi, Fascicula VI-Tehnologia Produselor Alimentare / The Annals of the University Dunarea de Jos of Galati, Fascicle VI-Food Technology. Since 2007 a new series has started having a new name The Annals of the University Dunarea de Jos of Galati, Fascicle VI-Food Technology, and a new ISSN: 1843-5157. Starting 2009 the publication is biannual.
